We had a great Memorial Day Weekend in La Push with the Langans. While our top priority was Twilight Tours (ok..we did not go on any but did hit up the Twilight Store in Forks) we had a great time relaxing. We took off at 6am on Friday and caught the 6:30 Ferry to Widbey Island. It was cold but clear.
We then drove 3o miles up the island to cath the Ferry to Port Townsend. We had to wait for 1.5 hours to get on and where almost the last car on the 8:45 Ferry. Here is Kate walking around looking for goosies
We had lunch and took a break from the car in Port Angeles.

After our hike on Saturday. We went all the way to Hole In The Wall on Rialto Beach.

On Sunday we hiked into 3rd Beach. Kate had a great time playing peak-a-boo around this tree.

Rocks were a lot of fun but so was the shovel! each afternoon we would hang out on 1st beach, have a fire, and just chill. The sun was out. There were wales, surfers, and a ton of people. It was perfect.
Beaches are too much fun.

Sunset - It was beautiful. and the perfect ending to our trip. There is not much more beautiful than the WA coast and 3 days with no phones, TV's, sunshine and a beach right out of your door - is just about a perfect weekend.
