On Wednesday the 12th - the Seattle South Lake Union Street Car opened to riders. Our good friend John Boknecht has been working hard on this project overseeing - well I think almost everything! He has done a great job and we are really proud of all his hard work. On Tuesday, we got to go take a special ride on the street car. It sure was fun. Here if Jeffery all bundled up and ready to get on.

We got on at the UW Medicine stop! They were just dedicating it and we all got to meet the Mayor. He noted that Kate and Jeffery were the youngest people to ride the street car!

Ready to ride!

Boy......this sure is fun.

I wore a special pink outfit just for the special day. I am so cute! and loved looking out the window and at all the people.

Here is the first family of the street car! Heather, Jeffery, and John. Great job to you all in getting it all done on time (or at least putting up with John getting it done on time)!

Johns Dad and Grandma Vi - Vi...are you driving that thing? Watch out for bikers!!! You can see how proud they are of John.
